…of our Technical Manager, Gary Fisher, for completing the Snowdonia Marathon on Saturday 24th October 2015, finishing with a time of 3.38.28.

Not only did Gary complete this challenging and gruelling marathon he did so on behalf of the charity Tenovus Cancer Care. Established in 1943 Tenovus is a Cardiff based charity bring treatment, support and research to the local community.  For more information on this fantastic charity please visit http://www.tenovus.org.uk/.

This was Gary’s 5th go on the course and he was 5 minutes shy of beating his PB of 3:32:58. The course begins in Llamberis and runs around mount Snowdon through spectacular scenery and mountain terrain. The course comes to a head at 22 miles with a 350m+ steep accent which at 25 miles nose dives into a steeper 1 mile fell descent down into Llamberis to the finish line.
